Hi Mel, not sure if it's within your 'comfort sharing zone', but was wondering if you could do content around your meals, I think you're just terrific when it comes to meal creativity, planning and low/zero waste, and all of that at such low cost, that's really impressive and something I'd love to see/learn more from you. I know whenever you show your food you say it's nothing fancy, that you repeat meals etc but to me it looks really interesting and creative haha! not sure if I'm the only one, but I really do enjoy this part of your content..would love to see more if you're comfortable with that :) big hugs! x
Hi Anna, I’m completely comfortable sharing foodie stuff! In fact I recorded a vlog the other day and showed my breakfast/brunch on camera 😂 If people are interested then I’ll find a way to include more about it. Maybe a vlog of work from home breakfasts & lunches 🤔 Perhaps include a breakdown of costs?? I’ll put my thinking cap on!
Thank you! I almost didn’t publish it because I thought my spending would seem quite dull to other people. I loved what I chose to spend on though. Definitely more lunches and more bulbs in February!
It's great to see your monthly spending habits, so interesting. Thank you for sharing!
I'm just wondering about your hairdresser.
I only go twice a year for a trim (you can see from my photo that my hair is massive) bit as I am allergic to so many products I just have a dry cut (no shampoo and style as the shampoo irritates me and I never like how anyone styles it) and it costs me £15. I am in S Wales though, nowhere near London
Because I’m extremely nosey, I find this type of posts very interesting and your poll got a big fat ‘STAY’ from me.
As you’ve mentioned, I’ve also decided to take more advantage of the flexibility of being self-employed. I’m going to have a little think about the things I can do during the day when I ‘should’ be working and I’ll try not to feel guilty about it 🙈.
I’m looking forward to the rest of your February content - particularly the vintage reselling deep dive.
(the random dots at the bottom of this message are there because I’ve noticed Substack tends to cut off the last couple of lines of my comments and I don’t know how to fix it 🤷♀️)
Oh my goodness I am so nosey too! I just like to KNOW stuff and TALK about stuff all the flipping time 🤣 Will go ahead and include them as bonus content and try and include months with more varied events and spending so it’s possible to see how it changes over the course of the year… 🤔
I totally forgot to add the Book Club content that will go out in Feb in the preview for this month's content!

I second this ⬆️
So interesting. A good idea to go out for a solo lunch each month. I definitely need to start that.

I would say inquisitive, open to sharing and learning rather than nosey! x
That’s a very generous interpretation! 😆
Love this! Nice to hear that you are treating yourself to the meals away from home. 😀
Thank you! Yes, it’s been great and will def be doing the same in Feb
